About

Hi I’m Anna but everyone has called me Annie my whole life. I live in Hertfordshire just outside London in a 130 year old terraced cottage with my only child, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel called Keith.

Currently working in Business Development for a Post Production company, I am available for Post and VFX consulting work be it working on new vendor bids for your production, or breaking down scripts for VFX, do get in touch with me on via linkedin on my contact me page or directly by email at annalouisegordon@hotmail.com

Professionally, I have made a name for myself working in Post Production for nearly 20 years, mainly working in Visual Effects.

I’ve had the best career to date having worked on many incredible commercials, TV shows & films.

I’ve been lucky enough to travel with my job and I lived in New Zealand for 3 years. I’ve also been to LA, Copenhagen, France and more with work. Travel has slowed a little since getting another dog and spending my money on house renovations, but I try to at least get on the road regularly with the dog!

In terms of hobbies and things that make me feel complete in my day to day life, I love to travel in the UK and further afield. I obviously love dogs and being outdoors, music, gigs, Glastonbury, theatre, camping, DIY, gardening, taking a good photo and editing videos, I was an early adopter of a vlog, I love farm shops, upcycling old furniture, shopping for old furniture, baking, eating picky girl dinners, arranging flowers, volunteering, being Chair for the residents association, massages & spas (who doesn’t?!) and so much more.

Around 14 years ago, in 2012, like many people I jumped on the bandwagon and I started an online blog. I found it really cathartic and people did actually read it! I guess I’ve always loved keeping a diary or scrapbook of sorts and I’m so pleased now when I look back, that I kept those memories. At some point Instagram and Insta stories really took over, and that became the place I started to log my daily antics and the blog came to a sad halt.

I’ve dabbled with the idea of starting it up again, and maybe I will for some of the important life moments. In the mean-time though I wanted a new website where I could store the archive, knowing all that hard work I did back then wouldn’t get lost and could still be accessible. That’s why I created this space here on the internet. It’s a place to collate everything about me in one place, professionally or personally. I hope you find it easy to navigate and if you’d like to get in touch or ask anything, please do click on the contact me page.
